Kate Burns - Head of Picture Books
Kate has been working in children’s publishing for over 18 years. Starting at Walker Books, she has since been Picture Books Editorial Director at Hodder Children’s Books, Publishing Director of Illustrated Books at Orchard Books and, laterly, Deputy Publisher at HarperCollins Children’s Books. She has never got over her childhood joy of reading Winnie-the-Pooh and has loved discovering and publishing children’s books ever since. She lives in the countryside with her family and other animals, including a big grey horse and a small grey dog.
