Today was a running around sort of a day (talking to authors, being interviewed on the phone by a blogger, meeting a publishing guru and asking difficult questions of a sisterly independent publishing company) for Kate, ending in what we continually refer to as Nosy Crow’s North London Office (a.k.a. The Wellcome Collection Cafe) on Euston Road. Imagine her horror as she discovered that the Crow has been rumbled when she found the note (pictured) on each and every table castigating people for exactly the kind of behaviour that Nosy Crow indulges in. Hmm. We will, quite simply, have to consume more coffee and cake when we are at the Wellcome, and, with a sigh, we resign ourselves to this task.
