Extras

Excerpt: “You Dinosaurs don’t stand a chance. I wouldn’t be surprised if you weren’t extinct by Christmas. Whatever that is.”
“Right, toga-boy, that’s it…” snarls Eurekadon.
“Oh yes, lizard-face? You and whose Centurions?”
A fight is brewing, but before it can kick off, a small boy pushes his way through the crowd.”

Kate says: “Nikalas and Tim talked about this idea at their first meeting with us. When they came back with it worked up, we made them an offer in five minutes. We loved the mad combinations and the short, action-packed chapters; the illustrations made us laugh; and the opportunity for readers to interact with books by adding their own drawings was a great new angle.”

  1. I like the book because there’s lots of things to do and it’s a special book for you to do the colouring and it’s a story book and it’s funny. Ha! Ha!

  2. Is it a fiction book or is it a doodling book? I will leave you to make up your own mind – but you can find another title (Robots v Gorillas in the Desert) on our fiction pages. In this hilarious story, imagine Romans and dinosaurs harmoniously living together on Mars – and a gigantic asteroid about to crash into the planet. Readers, especially boys, will revel in the funny story whilst having fun completing the pictures. Ideas are given to help creativity, making this fun for everyone. I am looking forward to sharing them with two boys and will share their comments! Great stories in themselves, with the added dimension of the doodling. I look forward to more in the series.
