Camilla says: “The great thing about these books is that they really work for toddlers. Life for a toddler can be baffling at times: one minute you’re having a perfectly lovely time, the next it’s all gone wrong and you’re in tears. Very young children adore the Pip and Posy books because they reflect the dramas of their lives, but in a gentle and humorous way. They love the fact that bad things happen, but then a resolution is found by Pip and Posy themselves.”

“They had such fun roaring that Pip forgot he needed a wee.
Soon there was a little puddle on the floor. Oh dear!
“Never mind, Pip,” said Posy.
Posy gave Pip some of her clothes to wear and they spent the rest of the day painting pictures.”
