The Secret Hen House Theatre by Helen Peters and Goldilocks and Just the One Bear by Leigh Hodgkinson are both included in The Independent’s list of the 50 Best Summer Reads.
Children’s author Joe Craig said of The Secret Hen House Theatre, “The sort of story you want to melt into … The trials and charms of farm life create a world where characters will start to feel like friends.”
