A little while ago we posted a guest blogpost by Pamela Butchart, author of the HILARIOUS (and yet-to-be-published) Baby Aliens Got My Teacher – a brilliant, laugh-out-loud debut for 7+ year olds, featuring crisp twins, pea phobias, and aliens-in-ears.
At the time the book was too far off for us to have material to share. Now, though, we have proof copies, some great plans for a publicity campaign, and – very excitingly – as of today, cover proofs for the second book in the series, The Spy Who Loved School Dinners. You can see a glimpse of it above, and here’s the full front cover (click to enlarge), illustrated by Thomas Flintham – check out this magnificent fluoro finish:
And here, for the very first time, is the first chapter of Baby Aliens Got My Teacher. I feel confident predicting mild hysterics (at the very least) by page two.
