Our favourite artwork in I Am The Seed That Grew The Tree: A Nature Poem For Every Day Of The Year

This month we have published I Am the Seed That Grew the Tree: A Nature Poem for Every Day of the Year, illustrated by Frann Preston-Gannon and collected by Fiona Waters – a beautifully illustrated collection of 366 nature poems, one for every day of the year.

And today we’re delighted to share a look at some of our favourite artwork in the book!

We asked everyone at Nosy Crow to pick their favourite spread of Frann’s incredible illustrations for the book – and we’ve collected them all in the video at the top of this post.

With over three hundred fully-illustrated pages (the equivalent of ten picture books!) of poetry, in a beautiful and lavishly-produced clothbound hardback edition, I Am the Seed That Grew the Tree: A Nature Poem for Every Day of the Year is a truly special book to treasure and share. Filled with familiar favourites and new discoveries, written by poets, including John Agard, William Blake, Emily Dickinson, Carol Ann Duffy, Robert Frost, Christina Rossetti, William Shakespeare, Thomas Hardy and many more, it’s a perfect collection for children (and grown-ups!) to share at the beginning or the end of the day.
