The Guardian’s Best of Summer Reading

More Summer Reading round-ups! The Guardian published their Best of Summer Reading at the weekend and both The Grunts in Trouble and Dinosaur Zoom made the list.

Here’s what Kate Kellaway said about Dinosaur Zoom:

“Penny Dale has taken the ingenious decision to go the whole hog – or brontosaurus – here by combining outrageous dinosaurs with assorted heavy goods vehicles, sports cars, tractors and the like. For the prehistoric speed freak, this is a roaring delight”

And Julia Eccleshare, reviewing The Grunts in Trouble, wrote:

“Their adventures are as unsavoury as they are entertaining, as Axel Scheffler’s illustrations wittily show. Fans of Andy Stanton’s Mr Gum and Roald Dahl’s The Twits will delight in this disgusting but amiable family.”
