We’re flying the nest.
We spent this weekend packing and moving from where all things Nosy started… but just to another office in the same little set of Victorian buildings on Westminster Bridge Road.
Moving was the time-consuming slog it always is, though trusty movers Galo and Carlos took part of the strain. The heavy oak plans chest was moved, and Adrian’s rather fine old glass meeting table has found a new home.
It was done because we are too many: Steph Amster starts as head of design and Kate Burns starts as head of picture books later this morning (Kate’s writing this post late). We continue to try to bring in-house only the roles we think are absolutely necessary as we don’t want our costs to mushroom or to outgrow the personal hands-on culture we’ve created.
Nevertheless, it’s an exciting new phase for Nosy Crow. Wish us well!
