Apple
Apple drawing by Frederick Thomas Baynes, United Kingdom, 1824–1874

This ripe, juicy apple on a mossy bank with grapes and blackberry leaves was painted by a British artist called Frederick Thomas Baynes. Artists call a group of objects like this a ‘still life’. Baynes used watercolours on paper.
