Alarm clock, Ingersoll Ltd, UK, 1932

‘Tick tock’ is the sound of mechanical clocks wound up with a key. Some are so noisy it is hard to sleep. This clock works silently until it is time to wake up, then it rings loudly. Although cheap to buy, the paper dial has a dial for setting the alarm, a seconds dial and the time marked in 12 and 24 hours. Can you see the difference between them?
