Fish amulet, Ur, Iraq, 2600 BCE

Dating back over 4,500 years, this little fish amulet was found in the tomb of an important lady (perhaps even a queen), known as Pu-Abi, in the city of Ur, along with a whole host of other jewellery and accessories including a very heavy golden headdress.
