Melon

Melon
Print from the 'Vegetables' portfolio by Jim Dine, United States of America, 1969–1970

This fruit is called a melon, and has a rough skin on the outside and is soft and green-white coloured inside. Even though we eat it as a sweet, juicy fruit, melons belong to the same family as squashes, pumpkins and cucumbers!
