This peach was printed in The Gardener’s Assistant, a book by Robert Thompson, published in 1859. The peach was drawn by Augusta Withers and engraved by Thomas Dick.
The peach is a fruit that belongs to the rose family, along with the cherry, apricot, almond and plum.
