Pears are a popular fruit eaten around the world. There are lots of types of pear, but the one shown here is a Common Pear, native to Europe and Iraq. Can you see the different coloured shapes that make up the pear? The artist cut coloured paper and stuck them down together to create this pear. This method of making art is called collage.
