This painted rock art is from Mashonaland in Zimbabwe, an area full of granite hills and boulders. This image is of two porcupines with their legs splayed as if they are running. Some rock art can be several thousands of years old! Along with human figures, animals are widely represented in Zimbabwean rock art.
