Puffins are seabirds that live along coasts. The puffin in this picture is standing on a rock with big webbed feet – perfect for swimming! Although this picture is printed with black ink, puffins actually have bright orange beaks. This picture has been cut into wood, and is called an engraving. It shows the patterns of the puffin’s feathers very well. Can you imagine what the puffin’s wing feels like?
