Contracts Executive

Nosy Crow is looking for a contracts executive to join our busy and growing contracts and finance team.

This is a full-time role and the successful applicant will be based in London, at the Nosy Crow office near London Bridge.

Experience of working with legal documents of some kind is essential, and experience of working with publishing contracts combined with an understanding of copyright would be highly advantageous. We are looking for who understands the importance of, and is interested in, the intricacies of author and publisher contracts. The successful candidate will have an excellent eye for detail, and will be hardworking, well-organised, and able to multi-task and prioritise.

The successful candidate will be dealing both with contracts with overseas publishers and with agents, authors and illustrators, managing the day-to-day workflow, creating new contracts from existing templates, and working towards self-standing operation as a contracts creator and processor. Nosy Crow is growing fast, and the speedy and accurate management of our contracts is central to the whole of our business.

The contracts executive will report to the Commercial Director and will interact both with our rights and editorial teams. We are a small, close team here at The Crow’s Nest, working in a friendly, highly creative and professional environment, and we need a team player who can keep calm in a busy office.
