Whizz! Pop! Granny, Stop!
There is more trouble afoot for the little girl whose granny is (still whisper it) a witch, whom we first met in Hubble Bubble, Granny Trouble. Granny just loves to help – a little bit of magic always speeds things along – and she’s happy to whizz out her “helping kit”at the drop of a pointy hat. However, sometimes all her granddaughter wants is to do things under her own steam, and to spend some quality time – well, normal(ish) time – with her beloved granny. But is her birthday party the right time to choose to turn down the magic?

What the Critics Said
“This is a delightfully warm and witty book, combining every child’s desire for conformity with the extra little thrill of having a granny who knows exactly when magic can be useful. Corderoy’s lively rhyme is mirrored by Berger’s wonderfully expressive illustrations.”
“This visually exciting picture book is a riot of colour and action. The adventures of a group of big, bold characters are sure to steal youngsters’ hearts and all is revealed with Corderoy’s trademark funny rhyme. Beautifully produced, Whizz Pop, Granny Stop! is perfect for little people who are keen to be independent.”
“Another delightful story, full of fun, with Joe Berger’s delightful illustrations.”
“The mixture of Granny, lots of magic and a birthday will be sure to hit all the buttons with readers young and old. The modern, fun illustrations by Joe Berger and rhyming text by author Tracey Corderoy superbly complement each other and bring to life the heartfelt, meddling granny and exasperated grand-daughter.”
“Corderoy and Berger have concocted a splendid follow-up (Hubble, Bubble, Granny Trouble, 2012) full of gentle humor spotlighting the special relationship between grandmothers and granddaughters.”
