Nicola has 16 years experience in children’s publishing. Working for Ladybird Books gave her a passion for innovative first books for babies before a move to Orchard Books immersed her in a new world of young fiction. After freelancing for Nosy Crow for 5 years, bringing lots of talented artists to the fledgling fiction list, she is excited to have touched down properly in the Crow’s Nest and to be developing fiction’s look from the inside. Nicola has a love of all things hand-printed, especially letterpress.
